If you are aged 19 and are thinking about university but don’t have any formal qualifications then the Access to Higher Education Diploma could be perfect for you.
Adults (19+) can study for an access to higher education diploma at college, this is an intensive one year course at level 3 that will lead on to university.
There are over 1100 courses available in many different subjects including Business, Marketing and Management. Access to HE diploma can also be completed part time over 2 years or more.
The course is mostly assessed by coursework but you could be required to submit some of the work through presentations, research projects and exams.
As this is a course designed around those who have been out of education and want to go to university you can expect the course to be challenging, but you will be taught how to study so that you can progress on to university successfully.
Approximately 20,000 Access to HE diploma students apply to universities and the diploma is widely recognised by universities across the UK.

The Access to HE is relevant if you want to go to university to get into a marketing career, whilst it a well recognised qualification it is not a suitable route if you want to get straight into marketing employment.
